The 1990's were a decade of creativity and whimsy. I was born in this ten-year period, therefore making it the best. But regardless of that fact, the television and movies were the real stars of this time. Boundaries were broken down, particularly on the silver screen. Content that was once found too innapropriate for television was starting to become manifest on comedy shows, such as "South Park" and "Family Guy."
Other shows lasted for years and still retain humongous popularity in this day and age. A timeless favorite of sitcom fans is the slapstick comedy "Seinfeld."
The number one, highest-grossing movie of all time was filmed and released in 1997. This film is "Titanic" and is still shown on a weekly basis on many television networks. The movie is still insanely popular and is my favorite. It follows the love story between Rose and Jack aboard the ill-fated, massive boat, the "S.S. Titanic."
